Media Literacy Across the Content AreasMIL is best taught across the content areas rather than as a separate course of study. When one considers the purpose of MIL is to develop skills and competencies that every content area targets-- habits of inquiry, critical thinking, effective communication, and community engagement-- this makes a lot of sense.
